From Bole: Tiya, Adadi Mariam, & Melka Kunture Private Trip Reviews
Wonderful activity and guides!! We had Achenef as our guide and Messi as our driver. Both were great! they are enthusiastic and knowledgeable and English was great! Pick up and all communication was quick and prompt. The tour was fascinating: Adadi Mariam, is admittedly not Lalibela, but is a really cool church to see and gives you a great idea on what the rock-hewn churches are like. Tiya was really neat to see as well, since there’s some mystery to the origin of the stones, but well worth seeing. Melka Kunture was closed. On our tour, we had an amazing local lunch, had the opportunity to for a couple quick side stops and great conversation with both Achenu and Messi about their country. Both are great hosts and I recommend the tour and group!
