The service is excellent, obviously you can’t know how long is the queue before you get there. We went on a Friday at 5pm, only skipped about 20pp in the regular queue, which probably saved us just 3 minutes, and the same on the way back. But still it is a worth buying to avoid the stress, especially if you plan to visit on a weekend at peak hour or if you have plans after visiting, so you can head down the elevator anytime without queues.
We went to Taipei101 on a holiday weekend so there were lots of visitors. The skip-the-line ticket helped us zoom through the crowd and made us time-efficient, especially since we only had an 8-hour layover. We even got escorted to the elevators. That was really nice. Taking the elevators going down also builds up quite a queue. Good thing we had the priority pass. However the line to claim the skip-the-line ticket was also quite long.
